Frankincense Essential Oil


We use Frankincense to improve the way we deal with stress or at least the perception of how things are ‘flowing or not flowing’ in our life, which is ‘stress’.


Frankincense is a holy oil from the Middle East. A holy oil, that contributes to our brain health on several levels. As an ingredient in the holy incense, it was used anciently during sacrificial ceremonies to help improve communication with the creator.  Today we use Frankincense to improve the way we deal with stress or at least the perception or interpretation of how things are flowing or not flowing in our life, another word for that is ‘stress’!

The scent of Frankincense can help us activate the Parasympathetic Nervous system quicker, along with the grounding blend and some other specific essential oils and blends.

Because Frankincense is high in sesquiterpenes, we know that it can go through the blood-brain barrier.  Scientists have stated that the sesquiterpene’s activity may also help oxygenate the pineal and pituitary glands.

Frankincense increases the activity of leukocytes, defending the body against infection.  Frankincense may also help a person have a better attitude, which may help to strengthen the immune system.  If everyone used more Frankincense instead of drugs, we would have healthier and happier people and thus a better world!

This oil helps to focus energy, minimize distractions, and improve concentration. Frankincense eases hyperactivity, impatience, irritability, and restlessness and can help enhance spiritual awareness and meditation.

Oral Use:  Frankincense oil in general is approved by the FDA (21CFR172.510) for use as a Food Additive (FA) AND Flavouring Agent (FL).  Dilute one drop oil in 1 teaspoon of honey or in 1/2 a cup of water.

There are several ways to apply Frankincense to make the most of this precious oil, first off, just place a few drops in the palm of your hands, rub them together, cup your hands, and inhale.  Rub on the back of your neck, the bottoms of your feet, and also around your shoulders.  Do this several times during the day.  Apply a few drops to a base scentless skin cream, and apply to your neck and face area.  Use a few drops on your wrists before bed.  Enjoy Frankincense every day.
