Emotional Aromatherapy

Let’s face it we are all emotional beings.  We feel things, we are sensitive, pensive sometimes, lonely, happy, sad, confident and insecure all within a fraction of a second.  We are human!

Scientists and psychologists have spent centuries trying to understand the phenomena we refer to as emotions.  Although science cannot yet definitively explain the exact mechanisms, we do know that emotions have vast influence on well-being.

As humans, we experience these ever change emotions which demand more from us than we realize.  There is some good news on the horizon and plenty of support, especially if you know where to look.

Using aromatherapy blends with their unique chemical profiles can be the first positive step towards managing our changing emotions.

There are six different blends that I will refer to in this article.  Blends that can be depended upon when the need arises.  Although not my favourite scent amongst the selection I will begin with Motivate

Motivate is a wonderful combination of several citruses and mint essential oils, including Yuzu, Clementine, and Peppermint.  The resulting chemical profile is high in monoterpenes and monoterpene alcohols, which are known for their uplifting and toning properties.

You can use Motivate to help you spring into action or to appropriately shift state.  Apply a few drops to your diffuser, combine with fractionated coconut oil and rub into your skin it’s a very special blend for waking up the senses, and becoming capable.  Can a blend called Motivate, actually do this?  Wake up the senses?  Well, Yes if you understand the link between your limbic system and your Olfactory nerve.  The olfactory nerve is a little bit of anatomy that goes up your nose and into your brain, and by golly it has the potential to help you anchor change, new emotions, and new results!

Cheer Uplifting blend is an invigorating mixture of citrus and spice essential oils.  Featuring Wild Orange, Cinnamon Bark, and Star Anise essential oils.  The resulting chemical profile is rich in monoterpene and aldehydes, renowned for their uplifting and warming properties.  Cheer is ideal in the diffuser.  It’s really my go-to blend for changing the smell in the room and keeping me alert and happy

Passion Inspiring blend balances spice and herbal essential oils.  Combining Cinnamon Bark, Ginger, Cardamom, Clove, and Damiana creates a chemical profile with high concentrations of phenols and ethers to provide warming and renewing benefits.

Passion essential oil blend is applied neat to the skin, it’s really beautiful.  Careful with really young sensitive skin because of the Cinnamon Bark, however with a little bit of fractionated coconut oil, you can’t go wrong.  Apply several times a day.  You can diffuse this one too in the bedroom, bathroom and any room you want to bring a special emotion of love and comfort to.

Forgive Renewing blend mixes familiar tree and herb essential oils to create a diverse chemical profile with high concentrations of monoterpene esters and alcohols.  Pure Thyme essential oil along with several tree oils produces a blend with renewing and toning properties.

So, everyone has someone to forgive in their lives, believe me, and if someone doesn’t come to mind just yet believe me you are yet to forgive someone.  This is great gift oil that you can give to overs who you know need to work on their forgiveness qualities.  Great in the diffuser.

Peace Reassuring blend is a fusion of floral and mint essential oils.  The amalgamation of popular essential oils such as Lavender and Spearmint, along with the essence of some lesser-known plants such as Labdanum creates a chemical profile rich in monoterpene esters and alcohols for a renewing and toning experience.

I like to diffuse this one in the yoga and relaxation area of our home.  It’s symbolic and essential when it comes to setting the scene for meditation.  You can, of course, apply to the skin, as with all of these blends I would combine with fractionated coconut oil.

Console Comforting blend is my favourite of all six.  I’ve left the best one last!  Console combines floral and tree essential oils.  The combination of Rose absolute, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Sandalwood and several other highly valued tree and flower essential oils creates a blend rich in both monoterpenes and sesquiterpene alcohols.  The final product mirrors its chemical component composition being highly grounding and renewing.

The best time to use Console essential oil blend is when you are feeling sad, or you are a little down in the dumps.  But if you want to just make the room smell florally and sweet then this is the one to add to your diffuser.  I add 10 drops to a 120ml glass spray bottle, top up with water and spray the scent around the house, office, and bathrooms.  Delightful.

All of these oils are packaged together several ways, you can purchase them as a kit wholesale and pay no more than $318.00 (includes freight and wholesale establishment fee) This kit is made up of 6 5ml blends as above.

Or you can get 10ml Touch blends, (diluted with fractionated coconut oil) for $205.00 (includes freight and wholesale establishment fee).
